Multi award winning artist Thelma Plumb won the ARIA Awards last month in November 2025 for Best Pop Release for ‘I'm Sorry, Now Say It Back’ and she also won the Rolling Stone Australia Award back in April for Best Single for the song titled ‘Freckles’. Other singles and albums by Thelma Plumb can be found on iTunes.  There is a button at the bottom of the page it is a link to an array of songs by Thelma and other artists for purchase from iTunes.

 

 

Dan Sultan 'Kimberley Calling'

Dan Sultan is a great Australian singer-songwriter of Eastern Arrernte and Gurindji descent, known for his own musical style. His long career won him multiple awards, including several prestigious ARIA Awards. With a list of songs that features albums like Homemade Biscuits, Get Out While You Can, and Blackbird, Sultan is a versatile artist. In addition a to his musical talents, he is also a skilled guitarist, author, and actor, and has performed on the stages of major festivals while sharing the spotlight with renowned artists such as Bruce Springsteen.

Multi award winning artist Bumpy with her song titled 'Return Home'.  Return Home is from her EP ‘Morning Sun’ which was released in 2023.  Bumpy is a Noongar woman who was born in Sale, in Gippsland, Victoria.  Bumpy is a singer/songwriter who performs blues, soul and gospel music.

Emma Donovan with Blak Nation

Emma Donovan, born in 1981, is a talented Aboriginal Australian singer and songwriter, known for being part of the celebrated Donovan musical lineage. She began her journey in music at the tender age of seven, performing with her uncle's band, the Donovans. In 2000, she co-founded the group Stiff Gins, but departed three years later to release her debut solo album, Changes, in 2004. Donovan is also associated with the Black Arm Band and unveiled her solo EP, Ngaaraanga, in 2009.

The track 'Black Smoke' by Emily Wurrumara who is the winner of the (NIMA), National Indigenous Music Awards artist of the year for 2025. Emily Wurrumarra originally from the NT grew up in Brisbane, where she began her music career.  ‘Black Smoke’ is featured on her 2016 EP titled Black Smoke.

Busby Marou 'Underlying message.

Busby Marou (pronounced buz-bee ma-roo) is an Australian musical duo hailing from Rockhampton, Queensland, composed of Thomas Busby and Jeremy Marou. In 2012, they received the prestigious APRA Music Award for "Blues & Roots Work of the Year" with their hit single "Biding My Time," and they have since garnered numerous accolades for their work.

Miiesha, whose full name is Elizabeth Rose Young, is an Australian singer-songwriter proudly representing the Aboriginal community of Woorabinda, Queensland

Ellie Lovegrove 'I'm Gonna Fly' with Tony Minnecon

Ellie Lovegrove's single, "I'm Gonna Fly," was released on November 15, 2023, through the Archie Roach Foundation, as part of the album titled I'm Gonna Fly - Single.

Warren H Williams 'What Place'

Warren Hedley Williams, born on December 27, 1963, is a talented Aboriginal Australian singer, musician, and songwriter hailing from Ntaria in Central Australia. In addition to his music career, Williams has experience in radio broadcasting and acting, and he has also represented the Australian Greens as a candidate in the Federal elections of 2010 and 2013.

Christine ANU 'Coz I'm Free'.

Miai Christine Anu, a proud Torres Strait Islander from Cairns, Queensland, boasts heritage from both Saibai Island on her mother's side and Mabuiag Island on her father's side. She relocated to Sydney during her teenage years to pursue dance studies at NAISDA and has since gained recognition as a legendary singer, songwriter, and actress.

Reggae ensemble Zenith Boys from Kuranda, North Queensland, in 2005. They are renowned for their blend of roots, reggae, and rock, the band consists of the Brim family—brothers Aden and Astro Brim, alongside their father Willie.

Kev Carmody 'Thou Shall Not Steal'

Kev Carmody is a Bundjalung/Lama Lama who man was born in Cairns, Queensland, Australia, in 1946. He later grew up on cattle stations in the Darling Downs area of Queensland. 

Ricky Harrison feat Nick Moffatt 'Summertime'

 

Born in Bairnsdale, from Lake Tyers mission in Gippsland, Victoria. Rick was a co-founding member of the first Aboriginal rock reggae band No Fixed Address, Hall of Fame NIMA 2011. AMC South Australia 2016. Summertime also features Ric (RJ) bass, and Brent Hosgkin keyboard and drums.  Recorded at Bruthen Music recording studios in Bruthen Gippsland. 

No Fixed Address -'We Have Survived'

Established by indigenous students in 1979 at the Centee for Aboriginal Studies of Music in North Adelaide South Australia. The band went to record songs for a soundtrack to the movie 'Wrong Side of the Road' and released a mini EP entitled 'From My Eyes'.  Singer/Songwriters from the original band Bart Willoughby and Ricky Harrison still perform today.  No Fixed Address were inducted into the National Indigenous Music 'Hall of Fame' in 2011 and into the Adelaide Music Collectives, South Australian Music 'Hall of Fame' in 2016.  The City of Adelaide honoured the band by naming a laneway after them called No Fixed Address lane in the Adelaide CBD.  The laneway runs off Rundle Mall adjacent to the silver balls.
